Hey, I’m Ryan. Glad you’re here.

Yeah, I’m a photographer. I’m a bunch of other things, too. I mean, aren’t we all? I teach, I draw, I design, I make jokes, I listen to music, I read, I love to learn, I parent, I walk the dog, etc. I’m always up for a trip to a museum, or a record shop, or a day hike, or a different country/city. I really like skeletons and am fascinated by death and the macabre. I have a kid, I have a dog, I have a wife, I live in a house, I mean what, do you want my SSN too?

Photography has been part of who I am going way back to my middle/high school days of skateboarding and mullet-hunting (this was a thing in the early days of the internet). I started to take it more seriously in college, but it has always remained a thing I’ve done for the pure joy of doing it. These days, I have gotten more serious about my photography. I am focusing on projects, exhibitions, zines, maybe books, idk. We’ll see where the wind takes me.
