I’m glad you’re here.
I have been a public school art teacher for almost 15 years. More recently, I have been teaching high school darkroom and digital photography. I started out as a printmaker working in intaglio, lithography and relief, then later in letterpress. For a number of years, I also ran my own letterpress print shop creating hand-lettered and illustrated letterpress printed cards, invitations, and all types of printed matter. Photography was something I always did on the side, for fun, taking a camera wherever I went (and still do!). Lately, I have been focusing on several different photo projects, which I hope to share in some form or another in the near future. I predominately shoot with film, though I do work in digital as well. When I learned photography, it was all film and I’ve always enjoyed the process of taking pictures, developing film, and printing in the darkroom. So, I never really stopped doing it that way.
I now offer giclée prints, color and b&w darkroom prints, and unique handmade prints (such as cyanotypes).
