As owner of Sidework Studio, I ideated, illustrated, and printed all of my goods. These hand-lettered and letterpress printed cards for birthdays, holidays and life achievements are some examples of the types of cards I created and sold, both online and through retailers.

Wedding invitation suites require a lot of planning, designing, cohesiveness, and care. They were both enjoyable and challenging and I loved the opportunity to create them.

I designed, drew, painted, and letterpress printed this wedding suite, which includes a save-the-date coaster, info card with map, invitation, RSVP card, and a set of thank you cards for the bride and groom to send after their big day.

I love cooking and design and even enjoy the quaint act of handwriting, so I created these hand-lettered and letterpress printed recipe cards for the fellow food and design lovers out there. The were sold as a pack of 10 in a clear sleeve so the design could be seen on the front, with a card in back detailing the illustrations that varied on each card.

I was hired to create this hand-drawn design and color-way for a local musician who wanted something loosely based on the famous guitar that Woody Guthrie played. It has been a popular piece of the musician’s merch and has seen several reprints.

These coasters were hand-drawn and letterpress printed. There were four designs and they were sold in a pack of 8 inside a square cardboard box with a clear top to allow the design to be visible. I alternated which design was on top so that all could be seen when grouped in a store. Info was letterpress printed on the back of the box.

These were a popular choice for gift-giving and I still receive requests for them.

The nonprofit Share Our Strength hired me to create this hand-lettered and chalkboard background design for their No Kid Hungry campaign to end childhood hunger in the USA. It was used in a social media campaign.

You can never have enough thank you cards. These were hand-lettered and watercolor painted, then letterpress printed. They were sold in a pack of 6 with envelopes in a cardboard box that had a label with info and pricing on the back.
